Wanted to apologize for my post. On Where are you in your journey?

I didn't mean to come across so negatively for that I am sorry.  I am just frustrated in this process right  now and I shouldv'd just put my own post up instead to vent. If I could remove it, I would.   However, with that said I would also like to say I'm happy for the progress and successes I have seen on this website an someday hope to join the ranks of those accomplishments.   Sincerely, Erika

Hi Erika! No need to apologize!  Most of us have had to jump through hoops to get to where we are.  Keep you chin up, it is so worth it!!  Come and vent anytime, thats what we are here for!!

Can I ask where you are in the process?

Erika, Don't sweat it....lots of us have been in your shoes.   It's a very frustrating process.   I didn't read the post yet but will go back.   How did your appt go on Monday?   I was thinking about you.   If you need to vent or talk feel free to give me a call.

 

 

Erika, I think nearly everyone has been in your shoes.  It can be an amazingly frustrating journey. 

Is there anything you need help with?

I have to agree with the others. I like that this is a place for the good the bad and the ugly of WLS lol. Keep your chin up hon... it does seem like a long process, but it will be worth it.

There are some of us that get through right away, but others that can take several years.  And, like most of us, once we make our mind up that we want this surgery, we wanted it yesterday.  Keep your chin up--your day will come.  

Thank you to you all, I appreciate your kind words and encouragement.  Michelle thank you for the chat it helped alot.  And, Missy in regards to your question.. I am waiting for the correct form to be processed so that they can send in the paperwork to my insurance company for approval or possible dreaded denial.  For some reason my file didn't have the appropriate documents to release any /all information, even though I signed it last April of 2006 I will update once I have more information. Erika: Prior to approval on a reversal, I was denied at two different levels of appeal by my employer, a healthcare insurance company....there are no favors out there! :) HANG IN THERE....it IS worth all the crying, anger and frustration in the end. Don't give up, behind you 100%! Megan

No need to apologize. I didn't read it, but I know how frustrating the process can be!! Trust me, I was a huge crabapple (to put it mildly) as I went through this, if you ever have the chance to read my old blogs on my profile all I'm doing is *****ing, lol!
