Vision changes

I never attributed my worsening vision to my RNY.  I always thought it was just part of getting older. However, now that you  mention it, I did start needing 'cheaters' (magnifying glasses) not long after my surgery. HHHMMMMM.....food for thought!

I had an eye exam and new glasses in July.  I've been complaining to my hubby that the t.v. looked blury lately and today, at training, I had to move to the front of the room because I couldn't see.  I was about ready to go back to the eye place and ask them if my lenses were done right!!!  I guess now I know what it may be.....

Yep, they have gotten worse.  How many fingers do you see?

Yep, my vision has changed as well.  I go to church with my eye Doc, and she didn't think that it would have had anything to do with the surgery/wt. loss, but because my blood sugars are much improved it could be causing changes. The last eye exam I had there was a little retinopothy happening, and she said that if my bloodsugars are under better control, that could have "healed" or gotten less severe.  I have to make an appt. to get in to see her just after the 1st of the year.
