Did this happen to any of you?

Happy Tuesday everyone, Now I know everyone is different but I still have to ask if anyone else had this happen. Month one I dropped 45 lbs. month two I'm only sitting at 7 lbs loss so far. Is this normal to have such a huge fluctuation? Just curious. thanks

I think it's normal to lose a lot at first and then it would slow down, as long as you keep doing what your supposed to do you will lose inches also. 45 lbs is a lot in one month and your body is trying to adjust. Keep up the good work!

Thanks to both of you. I just keep remembering one of the questions on my insurance paperwork that asked what is the least amount of weightloss you'd be happy with and I said 50 lbs. I've lost 51 and I seem stuck this month. I'll lose a pound then sit for a day or two. I put the scale in the closet this morning to avoid the temptation.

BTW Laura you look amazing!!!!

You're doing just fine and are completely normal.  When your body loses so much so fast, it sometimes needs a moment or two or three to catch up with itself.  You are most likely losing lots of inches during this time.  Try on a pair of pants that you haven't quite been able to fit into yet - I'd bet $10 bucks that you fit in them now.

Good luck - keep doing what you're doing (as long as it's the right stuff) and you'll see the weight drop again soon!

Lisa, I am right there with you!   But like others have said, I bet you are losing inches...   I know I tried on a pair of pants that were a 'snug fit' last Monday and today they are loose - even though the scale has only moved 1 pound since then.

Thanks Cheryl,

I will try that. I know on Thanksgiving I grabbed a pair of size 20's by mistake and they fit.. snuggly but they fit.. somewhere I missed the 22's. I guess I should play dress up more often than once a month! I'll try them when I get home tonight and see if they are looser. I'm learning that as much fun as this can be it can also be a little nerve wracking too lol.

Thanks to all of you!

Totally normal -- I'm sure you are losing inches.  At seven weeks out, I haven't lost as much weight as my first month, but I'm dropping inches like crazy.   And just like the before, and monthly pictures, take your measurements on your anniversay every momth -- you will want to look back on your progress later !!!
