Hi, I'm flying from Texas to get a revision from DS to RNY by Dr. Buchwald....just wanted to check in and see if anyone else had this same surgery. Can you tell me about your experience. Thanks! Karla

Welcome to MN!!!and the board!!! There are several here that have had DS and several that have RNY. Not sure if they had both. But I've heard great things about Dr. Buchwald! SO, you are in good hands! Hope you find what you are looking for here!!!

Karla, Let me know when you have your surgery date and if you have any questions. I'll be more than happy to meet you before your surgery and spend the day with your support person at the hospital while you're in surgery. I've known Dr. Buchwald for several years now and he's the best there is for the procedure you're having!

I'm getting my endoscopy this week then I talk to Dr. B to discuss surgery....we will go from there.
