the cast is on...let the healing begin

hi everyone:    i got home yesterday.  they kept me longer than they thought they would.  but i'm doing ok.  trying to get used to this new normal (again) cause it's gonna be this way for 8 - 12 weeks.  they put in 8 pins and a plate.  i'll have sideways motion but no front to back.      thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.  hope everyone had a great turkey day.

hang in there sweetie-its good to know you are home!!  Turkey day was great-we went to a friends house and the food and company was so nice- That ankle will work - maybe not all the way, but better some than none.  Heal up and come to coffee-we missed you last week!! keeping the prayers and good thoughts comin- lynn

 yeah, it's way better being back home.  thanks for the offer, but what i think i'll need most is patience.  i bought some yarn for projects and intend to finally read the last of the harry potter books.  that should keep me busy for a week or two.

Oh Dorthe, I am so glad that the surgery is over and now you need to recover.  Do take care of yourself and let your family take care of you too.  Is there anything we can do for you besides keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.  I'm sending this angel too watch over your during this healing process.   Know that we all care and think about you often.  Hope to see you at coffee soon.
