Hey Everyone, I know I haven't posted on here in FOREVER, but I did want to let all of you know that last Monday I recieved approval from the insurance company! Yay! I meet with Dr. Jones this Wednesday and I have my fingers crossed that I'll be able to have the surgery done sometime late next month/January :-) I really have enjoyed reading everyone's posts and looking at your own pages, they have been encouraging and helpful. I look forward to joining you all on the Loser's Bench :0) ~Katherine

Hi Katherine!

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck in your upcoming surgery! Congrats on getting approved! This is a WONDERFUL ride. I read your profile and you and my daughter could be twins. She as well has PCOS and was actually diagnosed in middle school and was unfortunately told by her doctor that she would never be thin with PCOS, so she doesn't even try to lose weight, because she says it's a losing battle. I hope some day she will chose her health as you are and go for this surgery. It really is a Life Saver! Keep us updated as to what happens Katherine and buckle up, it the ride of a lifetime!
