Hey Linda Anne's mama! We are so glad to have you join us on here!! Congratulations on your surgery date! I have never heard of the weaving or knitting, but sounds interesting. Perhaps we can learn it from you at one of our upcoming girls weekends?

Hi..................yep its me aka: LindaAnne's mom.  I've started the same path she took and hope to have the success that she has had.  It's like adopting a new religion.  And being faithful.

Welcome to the Boards!  Congratulations on having a date.  December 17th will be here before you know it.  I just started knitting and plan on taking a felting class soon.  I'm finding that knitting is a wonderful way of keeping busy.  Try and relax about the surgery.  Your daughter went through it and has done wonderfully.

We're all here for you.

Hugs,

Margo

Hello

Thank you for the welcome.  Lots of new things have been and are being learned.  I should be trying the felting this winter.  I have one more swedish weaving throw to make.  I keep hoping I'll burn out on it and not so far.  lol

When did you have your surgery?  RNY?  Have you had good success?

Margo

Thanx for answering.  I have knitted for 45 yrs by hand and bought a machine at one point.  Then realized I knitted bacause I really enjoyed it.  Not to crank out garments.  So the sotrage room owns a knitting machine.

This weaving just fascinated me and I'm hoping the fad wears off here shortly.

Has it been a bit since your surgery?
