Hi................I'm new.  Have my 'DATE' for December 17th for a RNY.  AM anxious!  I was curious to see if anyone does swedish weaving aka: huck weaving or knitted felting.  Keeping busy sure keeps your mind off of whats coming.  Excited and anxious. sj

Welcome SJ!!!! You are right it, it sure helps to try to keep busy when you are waiting for your surgery!!!  I am familar with the felting but never have done it myself. For a while there I was crocheting purses and hats and someone said I should look into the felting process, but never did follow thru...Sounds interesting and I have seen some very pretty ones at craft sales!  The 17th will be here before you know if and you are in for a great ride!!!  Congratulations!!  CarolN

Hi SJ41~ I'm really sorry that I do neither huck weaving nor knitted felting.  Both sound like they'd be very painstaking.  I do want to welcome you to the  site and mention that you have a LOVELY daughter!  She'll be a great role model for you in this journey! The wait for your surgery will fly by.  God bless you as you embark on a  trip to a healthier you! ((HUG)) **SUE**

Hiya Sweetie!   I am soooo looking forward to meeting you in person!!  If you're this fun online, you must be absolutely dynamite in the flesh!! THE video is being put in disc as I type.  Thanks for your prayers in helping find the thing!  I would've been devastated if it hadn't showed up.  Good thing I spoke to my son about it. "If all else fails, talk to the kid...."   I'm not sure what purpose God had in my stressing about it, but I sure am rejoicing in the appearance of it! (((HUG))) **SUE**

Thank you for the Welcome.  so nice knowing there are people out there to tap on for advice and support.

A gal from Ottawa taught me how to do the weaving  and I sure do thank her for it.  If I could send you a picture in here, I sure would. sharon

HI sj, WELCOME to the MN board!  You'll find a ton of support and friendship on here!  I've never done huck weaving or knitted felting (think I work too much).  Excited and anxious at the same time is VERY normal.

Come back often and remember....there are NO stupid questions.  You've raised a GREAT daughter, she's a sweetheart and loved by many.

Hugs And Kisses Pam
