OT:I REALLY want to so why can't I???

I started yesterday at putting up the tree and lights and some decorations and yet I can't seem to finish! I even had Christmas music going!!! UGH! Why can't I get it all done?!?! This is my favorite time of year! This is sooooo unlike me! I am sooooo bored and this would give me enough to do! Oh, well.....here I go to try to finish! Thanks for letting me rant! Sorry, if it seems dumb!

Hi Sweetie! Take a deep breath, hold it for a minute, then SLOWLY exhale. Do it again. And again if you have to. ((You think maybe there's a reason for this? HA! GOT YA!)) Maybe you need some snow for effect and to get you in the Christmas spirit? How about if you just go and stick your nose in a REAL spruce tree? Just go slowly with the decorating and do what you feel like doing. Go at your own pace, and enjoy things! I'm just being bad.

I did go to a seminar yesterday and they had REAL spruce trees for decorating. I just stood there with my nose in the tree 'cuz it smelled like CHRISTMAS! Made so sad--took me back to the days when my kids were young and my husband was alive and we would go in the woods to chop a REAL tree for Christmas. The kids and I would make garlands and other decorations and have a great time. The house would smell so wonderful from baking the special stuff. There was always an undercurrent of excitement! ((Now I have an artificial tree and have to get room spray to get that pine smell.....)) Well, that was years ago. My 3 older kids are on their own, and my youngest (age 17) and I are joining my favouritest sister in Tucson for Christmas this year--that's why we're heading to Mpls on the 17th. Up for joining us for coffee that night? (Details later,,,) I'm doing all this writing because I'M avoiding getting out the books to study for the final exam for a super boring class! BUT--I've gotta do well, and then it's DONE!!!! YAY!! Sorry......where was I??? Have a great evening. Enjoy the Christmas music, and do enjoy the spirit of this beautiful holiday!! (((HUG))) **SUE**

Thanks Sue! I think I am bored and was wishing I could go and do something!! Plus Paula my by-pass buddy moved today! So sad!! So weird!! Happy for her but wow! She's always been just a few doors down and now.........ok, where was I?!?!
