Sandie! I think making a career change is cool! From what I know of you, you're such an empathetic person you'd definitely be an asset in the medical field. As far as 'gross' stuff goes, I do believe that you develop a stomach for it where it doesn't bother you any more. ((I know I'm not supposed to work in the medical field because I CANNOT handle the odor of diaper {and worse} ever since my kids got out of diapers. I absolutely GAG!!!) I went back to school after being out for 25 years. God willing, I graduate this spring with an Honours Bachelor of Social Work, with a major in Gerontology (study of old folks). Good Luck to you Sandy. I was a CNA many years ago and loved every moment of it. I worked with the elderly in a nursing home. I'm not in the health field any longer but, often think of going back to that line of work to be a Nurse. The test really is not that bad. At least it wasn't about 10 years ago. You will be great!!

Thank you dear! I love the elderly! They have sooo much to share! I feel sorry for the ones who never have company but once in a blue moon! I use to go to work with my mom (she's a RN) when she worked at a nursing home to visit them! Thank you for your encouragement and kindness!
