I'm home

Well, I finally made it home.  My surgery went a little overtime because I had some scar tissue issues that had to be dealt with.  In my early teens I had my appendix removed, big scar for that one, and I've been having pain in that area for years.  Well, Dr. Jeff  said he'd take a look at that while in there, and if its scar tissue he'd take it down, if it was a hernia, he'd decide while he was there.  He said the scar tissue was really bad (a lot of it), and that it was no wonder I had been having a lot of pain in that area.  There was scar tissue in a few other locations as well.  don't knowwhy, but it was there.  So, that's why my surgery went over time.   Dr. Jeff took pics during surgery so I got to see my new pouchy, along with a few other things.  I got to keep the pics, too.  My brain is a little scattered.   I didn't get discharged until 2:30 this afternoon, because my bladder was refusing to cooperate.  I had to be catheterized 4 times.  Talk about pain!  Especially that last one, when the nurse decided she needed to scrub me raw with a washcloth first..   Anywho, that's all I can do for now.  Gotta get some rest.  I am taking my pain meds religiously, and sipping and walking.  I am having pain, but every day will get better. Thank you al for your warm thoughts and your prayers!
