Insurance Frustration!!!

So I called the insurance company just to check the status of my approval request.  I guess my paper work got faxed to the wrong place.   I've been waiting two weeks for an answer and now have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks.  I'm  not angry (mistakes happen) just its frustrating.  I want to start makig some plans about when surgery will be and you can't do anything until you get the approval.  It's being refaxed now with Rush on the paper work so maybe that will help speed it along. 

Bummer! It sounds like you have the right attitude - let's hope that they put a rush on the paperwork for you.  Who knows - they may say 2 - 3 weeks, but they have the approval done in 2 -3 days.  When I went through the approval process, they lost the original faxed paperwork, so I had to call my clinic to have them re-fax it to the insurance, but once they got it - it only took 2 days for the approval....keeping my fingers crossed that is how it will work for you! Keep the chin up - it will happen!

Sorry to hear you will have to wait again!!!!  But like Laurie said, it will happen.  EVERYTHING happens for a reason -- believe in that and trust that being approved right now the path you are suppose to be on.  When you have your surgery, the path was meant to be.  We don't always know the answers to our questions when it is happening, but will see why in the future when you look back on it.  Trust in your guardian angel !!!!
