B12 shots
Is it towards the end of the month that you feel this way? Have you tried supplementing with sub-linguals to see if this helps? Then you'd know for sure that it's B12. I would say definitely talk with your doctor. I have heard of other intervals of the B12 shot, such as every 21 days etc. Do you get it in your muscle or in your belly? I wonder if that plays a role in absorption? I know it's 'technically' supposed to be administered into the muscle, but some administer it into the subcutaneous tissue in the abdomen.
Keep me posted, as I also do the B12 shot and have just begun my journey and would love to know what you end up finding out and what ends up working for you.

Ditto what Alayna said -- talk to your doctor first. They are probably going to do blood work at your two month post op appointment so I would not start anything new until they do that blood work or the doctor okays it before then. You want them to have an accurate picture of what is going on with you at the level you are on -- then they may up the dosage based on those numbers. It could be iron or something else that is messed up -- not the B12 element or absorption.
But definitely bring it to your doctors attention -- I'm sure they may want to know about it.....

Hi
I agree with the others, check with your doctor. But for me, I take my shot every 3 weeks. My doctor just changed my prescription to accomodate the change.
You should be okay on your levels, this early out. Since it's been only 6 weeks since your surgery, your body is still recovering from the stress of the surgery. That could also be why you are tired.
Hang in there. You'll do great!!
