Wanted to thank you....
for all of the prayers and thoughts going up in the work situation for all of us that might be affected.
I'm trying to stay positive, but truth be told, not one of us knows what is going to happen to our jobs. I'm not one that normally worries about things that haven't happened yet because I think it's a waste of time and energy if nothing does happen, this just creeps in to my head once in awhile and makes me nervous.
I was driving home the other night and pulled up to a stop light, the truck in front of me had two bumper stickers. The first said...."Relax, God's in Charge". The second said, "Let Go and Let God". I just kind of looked up and said, "Okay." *S* Sure hope those were good signs to what's going to happen. Being a single mom, my income is it....so it's still kind of scary, but I now that whatever happens, we'll survive, He'll be with us. Thanks for the prayers everyone. They are SOOOO appreciated!
It's so cool when God sends us little reminders!
A friend gave me the two following phrases that I claim when I get rattled about something I can't control:
If God brings you to it,
He will bring you through it.
((This one in particular I remind God about. I sure didn't ever plan on going to university for social work. But He definitely closed to door on my last job I had been in for 13 years!))
God promised you a safe landing
Not a calm passage.
I hope you find these comforting. And it's normal to worry about things---but keep in mind that God has control! God bless you, Pam. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.
