Has anyone remodeled their bathroom by using one of those companies that just put a new tub over the existing tub?  I know one is called Bathfitter.  If so, were you pleased? Disappointed?  Any other advice?   THANKS IN ADVANCE!!   Lori

A friend of mine works at Bathfitter - he actually does sales for them, so he's the one that would come into your house and give you and estimate.  He loves his job and truly believes in the product.  If you would like his contact info, let me know.  I believe he's on vacation this week, but not sure.

I remodeled my bathroom in September.  I had my blue 1960's tub resurfaced.  It came out beautifully white!  I highly recommend resurfacing.

Bathcaremn.com is the business we used. It took 2 days of work ( a few hours each day) and then we had to let it set for another day or two.  The cost was about $500.  Not bad at all compared to replacing it.  They got some of the chemicals on the faucet that left a mark, and replaced the faucet afterward.  Really good service! Good luck!
