Happy Monday ~

How was your weekend? Did you meet your goal from Friday?  I will be the fist to say the I totally FUBAR'd..  Completely forgot about the goal that I set in place for myself..  What a dork..!!  I have a great memory, however its short..!! What are your Thankgiving plans?  We are heading to my sisters in St Paul Park with a couple dozen other folks for major knoshing.  I get to work on Friday at TJ's then off until next week!!  We are going on the Zephyr on Saturday with the inlaws.  It should be a good time. Hope you all have a great week! Gonna try to make my goal of getting my arse on the elipticle this week and getting into a routine.  I think I will need to post notes all over the house to remind myself. Thanksgiving Meal Tip:  If you are a picker and snacker prior to sitting down for your meal, dont make a plate full when you do sit down.  Makes for that uncomfortable fullness that some experience.  That or try to avoid that pick'n and snack'n.. I am thankful for all of you!!  God Bless!

Well my plans are to hang around here I think. Can't do too much but I think the next door neighbor invited us over for thanksgiving, and I want to stay in my routine. I have made it a ritual of going to the YMCA almost daily. I have to keep that energy going until my surgery.

Well-happy monday to you too!!  and all you folks out there- I am working thru weds-then off thurs/friday.  Not doing much on Turkey day, because the BIG celebration will be a day or two later when my daughter and her fiance come in from Iraq-then we will be crazy nuts doing all kinds of fun-going to the waterpark of america, the casino, out to eat....I can't wait!!  trying to get my house whipped into shape before they get here. oh.......and I am gonna be a GRAMMA!!!!  My oldest daughter is 4 months along.  It is a miracle baby-doctors said she would probly never be able to get pg.  Trying to convice her to come home-she is in Reno, and has no cov for the pregnancy. ugh....back to work for me-have a great day, everyone!! ~lynn

I had a great weekend.  My husband and I had a motorcycle meeting to go to during the day, we went to a surprise birthday dinner in the evening and went to see Johnny Clueless in Motamedia (sp?) and yesterday I baked banana bread, pumpkin bread, and lemon poppyseed bread for thanksgiving.   We are going to Andover on Thursday & Dassel on Sunday to partake in food and family.  It should be fun! My goal this week is to eat smart! Tammy

Dana, you have me absolutley SNORTING over here!  I thought I was the only one who used the FUBAR acronym when appropriate!!!  HA!!! I'm still fighting this annoying little cold I've had for the past week (thankful it isn't a BIG cold!).  Since my surgery and my mom joining LA Weightloss, we decided we really didn't need to do the whole Thanksgiving noon meal AND go to my inlaws for another big turkey dinner, so we're skipping the noon deal and just going the in-law's for dinner (thankful I don't have to cook a whole turkey dinner again this year!).  I need to remember to put my ever-popular mandarin orange jello together tonight so it's good & set by Thursday. I'm taking Friday off 'cuz our office is getting painted that day (thankful for the excuse to take the day off!), so I'm probably going to take Bailey to the Plymouth Driver station to take her permit test .  Wish me peace, people!!!  My baby will be driving SOON!!! Most of all, I want to tell all of you how THANKFUL I am to have found you, for all the friendships I've made here, and for the bond we all share through our weight loss journeys!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!! 

LOL...!!  I dont like to use it but great acronym!!  Heard it first from my all time favorite movie... "Tango & Cash"  Ok.. not really my all time fave, but it is pretty funny and intense all at once..

Hi Dana: Somehow, I managed to get down 4 lbs.....I was up 3 and lost another. So, I am now at 160, my goal is 158. I am close! Not giving up until I get there :) This week will be busy with the holidays, I hope we all maintain our water intake, eat protein, and get in some self care too! Holidays can cause blips on the radar without evening realizing it, so no post holiday bell aches for me :) I am making a low sugar low fat apple pie, and a protein enhaced healthy pumpkin pie this year! We had an awesome weekend!!   My niece got married on Sat and we spent the weekend with my family.   The wedding was beautiful.   Sadie (12 months old) was up till midnight dancing her little heart out.   We kept trying to take a break from dancing and she'd run right back to the dance floor...not caring that there were drunk crazy adults there to stomp all over her LOL.   She was so much fun.  Everyone was laughing at her all night.  

My nephew is coming to stay with us for Thanksgiving.....he'll be here Wed night...he's 23 yrs old.   I spent a lot of time with him as a young kid so we're really close.   My husband also thinks the world of him so it'll be good.   We're all going to my father in laws on Thurs for dinner then on Sat my mother in law wants us all to come to her house to celebrate!!!    I love going to see her but her house is far from baby proofed so sometimes it's more work than it's worth LOL.   I think we'll try to remember to bring those baby gates this time so we can corral her into one room.  

OH I hate Mondays....wait it's like Wed isn't it LOL!!!
