Got through some...
of the posts since the last time I was on. I've been really busy with work and it's only going to get worse. Sorry I wasn't able to get through all of the posts, but there is just not enough time.
I do have a request....if any of you would pray that I will keep my job, it would be much appreciated. My work is restructuring and there are going to be 38 people that have to look for other jobs. We find out in a couple of weeks, if we are among those that have to look. I apprecaite any prayers you are willing to lift to the Lord on my behalf.

I'll be thinking of you Pam!! I know what that is like. When I worked for the phone company I was 'surplussed'. I was lucky enough to find another job within the company, but I sure did miss the job I loved. In hindsight it was good for me. Facing a possible layoff is stressful, I hope you're not one of the 38!!! Keep us updated!

Prayers are with you GF!!! And boooo to your employer for even telling people -- what a bunch of crappy stress to lay on people right before the holidays!!! But just getting to know you over the past few months, I'll bet you are not one of them -- you are probably one of the dedicated employees employers strive to hire and retain!!!! Don't count yourself short -- another habit our heavy weights tended to do to our egos!!!
