When do you all put up your Christmas Tree? I kinda want to put it up today, because we are going on Vacation the beginning of Dec.. Is it too early?

I would say do whatever works for you!! Who cares when you put it up. If the time frame of putting it up today since you'll be on vacation works for you, then go for it!! Plus, then it'd be up for Turkey Day, I think most put it up the day after, you're not that early. Now had you put it up around Halloween..... Haven't seen you posting in awhile, unless I have missed it in my absences/lurking, good to see you around again. Hope all is well.

YEP TOO EARLY!  Not until the first weekend in Dec.  JK, this is just my opinion.

Why does there have to be a rule around when you put something up in your own home? If it's most convenient for you to do it today or never for that matter - do it or don't. No one's going to die whether you have it up or you don't. AND if someone comes over to your house and is offended that you have it up so early, well.... personally I'd tell em to get the *&(**& out of my house. But that's me - I prefer to live with less rules. Certainly some rules in life keep us safe, healthy and other good things, right? Most areas of life (such as this) are entirely open to interpretation - your own interpretation for your own space. Relax and enjoy!

If you are putting up an artificial, do it whenever it can help reduce stress of getting back. However, if you are putting up a real tree, remember that they need to be watered daily so they don't drop all their needles, and I recently read that having them up longer than 2 weeks can cause mold growth and affect people who are sensitive to allergies and asthma. Do whatever works, just wanted to share that little bit of info. Enjoy vacation!

I just looked out my window and noticed 2 of my neighbors have put up their Christmas tree. I don't think that you would be alone if you put yours up today.  Have a great holiday!
