New Winter Jacket

Edi bequeathed to me her light blue winter jacket at Swapkins in September, but alas - it's too big now!  I was really hoping it would take me through this winter, but it's kinda like a poncho, and I decided that I needed something a bit better fitting if I'm gonna do a bunch of tubing and 4-wheeling this winter.   (If anyone can use a 2X, pm me - we'll figure out a way to get it to you!) So I was up at HQ for a meeting this morning, and decided to drop in on our staff clothing guru.  He has a number of new winter jacket styles available, so I checked 'em out.  There's an awesome 3-in-1 parka that caught my eye, but it was a bit more $ than I wanted to spend.  So I tried on a "lesser" jacket, only to find it was kinda short on me.  And it was kinda light weight.  (I used to be fine with a less insulated jacket, as my insulation was built-in!)  So I tried on the 3-in-1, just for S & G.   I've always had to order 2X and 3X staff clothing, and even THEN, it didn't always fit.  I put on the coat he had as a sample, and that sucker zipped right up!  Felt - well, like it was made for ME!  So I decided to buy it.  He asked me what size I wanted, and I said "This one fits pretty darned good" and looked at the tag.  It's not a 2X.   It's not even an XL - IT'S A LARGE!!!     I'm pretty sure that, at that moment, I'd have bought that coat even if I DIDN'T like it!!   

WOOO HOOOO GF!!!!  SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!     I'm so sorry I didn't make group to see you this week.  I can't wait to see you at the 4th Wed meeting.  You are doing an awesome job!!!!  Isn't it time for a new picture -- the one on your Avatar is from Swapkins!!!  We need to see the results in living color!!!!

Actually, that pic is from Stillwater...  but I am due for a new one.  I have a 6 month on the camera, just haven't downloaded it yet.  Heck, 10 more days and I'll be at 7 months!!!     I haven't been on a scale since October 16th, either - need to check my weight one of these days, too!
