I don't track my carbs or calories. Weigh****chers gives me a Points Target - the value of a point is based on calories/fat/fiber. They also give me 35 extra points (Flex Points) per week to use as needed, for example, a big dinner on a Saturday night eating out or something.
They also have 8 good health guidelines which, if followed, wouldn't allow too many points to be used on junk food.
However, there are no restrictions on how to use your points. Someone could use all their points on junkfood if they wanted to.
I do journal everything I eat online at WW. The e-tools feature is free if you go to meetings on the monthly pass, which I do.
For me? I think I average about 1300 calories per day give or take. Oh yeah, when we exercise we can earn more points based on our activity done, our weight and length of exercise.
