Since Ive just started noticing my clothes fitting differently, Ive been thinking more of where to buy clothes inexpensivelly since I will be going thru alot of sizes.  Im sure other newbies on this journey would appreciate this info as well.  Im so excited to have to buy smaller clothes!!  WOOO HOOO    So my question is this:   those of you who are seasoned weight losers-  what discount stores, consignment shops, etc, do you shop at??   Thanks for any and all replies in advance.

Savers is a great place to shop.   It is a lot like Goodwill (second hand clothes) but a whole lot better.  Better quality, selection and they sort the clothes by size as well as color and type of clothes(long sleeve, short sleeve, blouses, jeans, slacks, etc.)  I go to the Savers in Maplewood next to Marshalls, near Burlington Coat Factory.  They have a better selection than the one in St. Paul at Maryland and 35E although the prices are a little lower at the St. Paul store.  My husband also said that he read that there is one in Eagan somewhere.  Check out their website at www.savers.com and you can probably find out where it is.  They also have 1/2 off the price of all their used clothing at various holiday times (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, maybe they'll have another sale around Thanksgiving too)  They also get things that haven't sold at regular stores and they are brand new and sold at the used clothing price.  Most things are under $10.00.   Hope this information helps you, good luck. Jane turned me on to Savers, too, and I think of her every time I shop there, which is pretty frequently!  I agree, the Maplewood store has a much nicer selection.  I recently bought a jcrew light cardigan, a Christopher Banks cardigan and super wool sweater/jacket and the perfect pair of jeans, all for $30.  Amazing!!!  Savers has tons of jeans, so with patience, you'll find some that fit. If you find some good buys in the next smaller size (or 2 or 3), buy them and build on the excitement of working toward fitting into them.  It is so much fun!!

I go to any and all thrift stores and goodwills and savers!!  Some stores you have to dig to find the good stuff and others are loaded with them!  As you shrink it is such a blast to find something that fits!  It's not like pre-op when you struggle to find bigger clothes that look good on you!!! YAY!!!  Thank God for the tool!!  AND each time you go back you KNOW it's for smaller clothes!! Ya just don't know how small!!!  YAY!!!!  AND the smaller you get the more variety and FUN!!!  GO TO ALL and HAVE FUN!!

Congrats on your acheivement.  I shop the clearance racks at Kohl's and Walmart and sometimes Target.  I have gotten great deals.  It really depends on what kind of clothes you need, I usually need dress clothes for work. Tammy
