They have some at McLaren too. First Wednesday of every month from 6 -7. They also have one in the morning but I don't remember the dates or time on that one.

Have you had everything check out. I know others in our group have have their RNY redone or RNY revise to RNY some say. The go in and make sure your pouch is not lots bigger and the soma it tight enough. They will be lots of people on the RNY that can give you better details.

I had the band placed at Hurley and am trying to get approved for a revision there now.
Just looked up and saw you are going thru Mclaren. Don't they have there own support group?
I know they didn't but, a guy going thru them at our party last week said they do now.
Doesn't matter. We have had Mclaren patients attend our group. Several where at the peer led ones.

Topic: Beaumont weight loss clinic and blue care network
I called my insurance just like the seminar at beaumont told me too and they cover only HALF of the surgery. After talking to the seminar lady she said they bill insurances $25,000 for the surgery plus all copays, tests and follow up fees. I am trying to save for this but am trying to be realistic. Anyone have BCN and had this? I am planning to save 14,000 to cover the extras and surgery but am not sure where to look for answers. The people I keep talking to from beaumont and the insurance refuse to give me a definate answer.
The only good thing is my weight/bmi qualify me to not have a waiting period to have it. Now to just get the cash.

I have a band and am trying to get it replaced with a sleeve. The sleeve leave the natural opening alone and that is important to me. Also if some help is needed down the road and you do need malabsorbtion it can have a by pass added and would than be a DS. But, they found most people did fine on the Sleeve only.
I would have had the Sleeve from the start but, the center I had to use didn't do it and my insurance wouldn't cover it. Two months after I was banded they started doint it and now my insurance covers it but, they now have a once in a life time policy.
