Hi!  I had the VSG on April16 2012 with Dr. Katz as my surgeon.  He is wonderful.  His staff is wonderful.  I had zero complications.  I was home in 2 days and started walking on the 3rd day.  He is compassionate and sincere.  He even gives his personal cell phone number when you leave the hospital in case you need him.  I wouldnt have changed to any dr in that practice.  He number 1.  What surgery are you having?

I was wondering if anyone had gone thru the process with Health plus and had gastric bypass covered by Health Plus?

I have had my psycholical exam, and got approved for consult.  Just wondering if that means chances are good that my surgery will be approved?

 Can I ask what an "angel" is? Some sort of wls support buddy?

 Stacey said to tell u to find a support group or dietician.  She doesn't have time to b an angel right now.   She's moved out of state and been hospitalized three times, also looking for an apt.
