Thanks - yes, things do seem to be falling into place so far. Are you still waiting for approval, or do you already have a date for your surgery?
I am leaning towards the RNY surgery. Right now I'm still in the beginning stages, but I did find out that my insurance covers it, so that's a bit of a relief. Now it's just a matter of getting all the paperwork done and all the other things that the insurance may require. :)
Congratulations Bethany! You will have approval and a date before you know! I started my 2 week liquid diet today for my Jan 22 surgery date.

So I've been cleared through cardiac, pulmonary, psych, nutrition, exercise, and finally just had my physical! I feel like this has taken forever! 13 months since I did the seminar! The only things left I have to do are get copies of my 6 month diet history and my last pap and I'll be good to go! I am excited/nervous with what is coming next!

Hi there! I'm pre-op as well and I have been on this board, but you're right, not many people post. Which is a shame because it would be nice to have support from others nearby. Hopefully this board will be hopping again soon. It'd be great to get to know all of you! :)
