I have my surgical consult next Thursday! The receptionist said that as long as everything goes smoothly during the appointment, we should be able to schedule!! I am so darn excited! I have waited for this for soooo long it seems!

This month's topic: Support Group Members: We Need You! The Kalamazoo focus/support group is open to all pre and post-op bariatric patients, as well as those interested in learning more about weight loss surgery.
I always find it interesting what different test different surgeons require. This is the very FIRST time I have heard they needed a copy of a pap.

Did you find out which all surgeries they cover and what you are required to be approved? If you need to do a supervised diet, it is a good idea to get started on that as they are usually 3-6 months.
