Very Good! Hopefully your will report back in with your results. I am going to a consult for my neck. I know that sound strange. But between the going thru menopause and losing 80 pounds, that is the area that is facing me in the mirror every day. I have that streched out skin just hanging there wobbling and it isn't even Thanksgiving. I was going to see Steven Morris as I have heard about him for years. But, now that he did the Biggest Loser winners I doubt I can afford him now.
How much is the LBL going to cost if you don't mind? I will be looking into more work when I get to goal for a year.
I recovered faster from the sleeve than I did from the band or the band removal. That said, you are going to need help with a one year old. At that age they need you so much and don't understand at all. I helped the DD by taken her's after her sleeve. I was told nothing over 5 pounds for 6 weeks by the Internist and 8/10 pounds for 4 weeks by the surgery center. No way could I pick up a 1 year old for 4 weeks with either surgery. Just getting in and out of the crib will cause problems. Will you have help?
Thanks for the reply. How long did it take to recover? I have a one year old so I cant be down long.
Sorry I didn't see this and welcome you sooner. I had my band out 9/4/12 and was sleeved 1/22/13. This sleeve is 100X better. I sure wish I had gotten the sleeve first time around. (They weren't doing it than and the insurance only started pay last year.)
Congratulations and good luck!
Your insurance requires the psych eval but, won't pay for it? I know some don't pay for it but, they don't require it usually. I think I was told it would be like $365 cash but, can't find the paper right now. Way up from what it was four years ago.
Hi! I am in the Flint area and had surgery at Hurley. Having had the band for 3.5 years and had all kinds of problems, I am now with sleeve and it is 100% better. I can't seem to respond to my messages so, if you have any qustions about the two ask away here.

I hope you are feeling better. I'm so scared but excited about this journey.
