My DH just bought me a Cuisinart (sp) one cup coffe maker.  It is just like the Keurig machine.  I LOVE it!!!!  I don't drink decaf, I drink regular.coffee.  I like the bolder coffees.  I got a smple box of 12 cups with my machine.  I also got a little filter thinkgy with it that you can just use regular coffee and not use the one cup things.

I flavor my coffee with splenda and Coffee Mate Sugar Free creamer.  They have the SF kind in Hazelnut, Vanilla Carmila and French vanilla.  I have also bought Sugar Free liquid flavorings from Starbucks (Cinnamon Dulce).

You will love your machine if you end up buying one!!

I have a Keurig machine and we love it.  I drink decaf with it.  Green Mountain - Vermont Country blend, breakfast blend and they also have a vanilla.  I also have Donut House decaf and Donut Shoppe Decaf and Timothy's Columbian and Timothy's Espresso blend - all decaf.  My hubbie likes bold blends and has a bunch of different ones.  I find I like the medium blends better because I make the 12 oz cup of coffee - my machine has 4 sizes.  The flavored coffees don't have sugar in them, they are just flavored coffee beans ground up.   I drink caffeine only when I have a headache and some people say you need to drink more liquids to offset the caffeine since it is a diuretic.    I think Cuisinart also has a machine out that takes the K-cups too.

Topic: Coffee question
Hi all,
I have a question for all you coffee drinkers.
I love coffee.    About 2 months before my RNY and till now, I have been drinking just regular decaff coffee.  My niece got one of those one cup coffee makers that you can buy all those neat little cups (flavored) and make yummy coffees and teas.  My question is can we drink regular coffee now at 10 months out?   And if any of you use those one cup coffee machines, what do you buy that doesn't have the sugar in the flavoring?  I'm curious as I would LOVE to buy one of those machines, but I just don't know what coffees I can use and drink.

Any yummy coffee ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I'm addicted to coffee!!  LOL

Take care,
God Bless,
Tari

Topic: More pictures....
OK, since we're posting pictures....  I recently uploaded a bunch to my profile, but I didn't think my before and after in the same jeans and t-shirt really looked that different.  Then I was looking at other pictures we have on our picture drive and I put together this one.  It is Christmas 2009 vs. Christmas 2010.  I can really see the difference here.

Hi every one thanks for your prayers They have done the job.

kens doctor said he was happy to report that the bone marrow and ct scans did not reveal any cancer or  leukemia. he suspects that he has an underlying infections. he will need to have blood work done once a month and new cts done in three months then he will return to the doctor for a re visit. As far as the infection We are thinking that because ken has dental problems and really needs to get dentures that may be where the problem lies. So to the dentist he will go.

The cts also discovered that he has Gal stones and  emphysema too.

whew we are relieved! but what a wake up call! I think he will start to take better care of himself now.I hope!

I am scheduled for vsg on 1/31 though GHPs. Interested in knowing if you had much pain aft surgery and how long before you could return to work.

I had my sleeve w/Dr. Foote and Grand Health Partners last April.  I only needed one night in the hospital.  The pain wasn't bad at all, but that all depends on how you handle pain.  I've had 3 c-sections, and those were far more painful than this surgery was.  I only needed my liquid pain med's twice when I got home from the hospital.  I was up and walking around the block for exercise only 3 days after getting home.  I am a stay-at-home mom, but if I worked I could have done so after the first two weeks I believe.
