I know you told me your surgeon has you taking chelated vitamins and i want to try them . I found these going a google search, is it the right thing? Are we only supposed to take chewables? Hi Linda, I see you had your surgery at Harper Hospital. Were you allowed to have someone stay overnight with you (husband)?

Sandy, I don't know if they allow someone to stay over night but call and ask about guest housing. There are a few rooms available to rent for about $40 a night. If you can't find out let me know. Jeanne

I'm almost positive that Harper will let someone stay in the room with you overnight. They are private rooms now so that makes it easier. It's great to have someone so you don't have to call the nurse just to go to the bathroom. I had my tt a few weeks ago and my hubbie stayed the night with me at St. John's hospital. Laurie

I just had my surgery at harper on monday, and while you do get a private room, the answer is a big NO. They asked every visitor to leave, visiting hours end at 8pm, but by 10 pm it was like - everyone out!!!

I am not Kevin.......but my surgeon also has me take the same thing. If you have a Vitamin World near you they have a pineapple flavored adult chewable that has the chelated minerals. I had my surgery at Harper on 4-06-06 and No you are not allowed to have Hubby or anyone else stay with you. They said they had to change the rules. A few bad apples blew it for all. My Friend is a nurse at Harper and she couldn't even stay with me. Just cuz it would not be fair to the others. Sorry Bummer .

I'm sure those are nearly the same as what I take. I use Country Life Adult Chewable Multis. I get them from Lake orion Health foods in Lake Orion on Lapeer Road. I hope that helps. kp
