WEIRD PRE OP WOW!!! BUT NICE!!

A couple of days ago I went to CVS to pick up scripts. There was a pharmacy tech there, she was about 5'2" and I would guess 400lbs. She went to leave from behind the counter but had to turn sideways to get out. I felt so bad for her. In my mind I wondered if she thought about WLS. I JUST called about the Devrom they ordered me and she( I didnt know it was her) answered the phone and asked me what it was for. I told her it was for gas smells, etc and used by post op WLS mostly. She was like " Oh my God this is my confirmation, I have been praying about this, asking Him to send me a sign that I should finally go through with this and I feel you are my sign"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had started the process before, actually with the same surgeon that I have. Her consultation is 5-24-06!!! I asked her which tech was she, and then I knew it was her because I know all of the rest of them because my daughter gets a zillion scripts. She asked me for my number and could she stay in touch, I said yes and gave her my number. It seemed kind of weird, but I was truly touched the way she reached out to me . ~~Simone

That's definately a wow moment - and how great it is. Aren't you glad you're doing this? And already you are helping others...cool. I am feeling good - 1 week out and I feel so blessed to really begin feeling human again. Its not easy but I am getting cards from friends and family and I am so surprised by peoples reactions -calling me brave! So its amazing how you and me can affect others by our positive actions. - Kathryn
