Does anyone remember seeing a recipe for a crustless pizza? All i remember was that it had ground beef pressed in a baking dish and lots of toppings and cheese. Thanks in advance. Stacy

That is pretty much it. I add egg(to make it hold together) and italian seasoning to the meat. You press it down and bake it. Then you add sauce and toppings. I also do Portobello muchroom pizzas which I like better. You just clean and scrape out the gills of the caps first. I bake them a little with olive oil before filling. They take a little bit to get softer and just putting them in long enough to heat does not do it for me. I heat the sauce a little first too. I fill with my faves and top with cheese. I like these better because they are no as greasy and I LOVE mushrooms.

I make what I call pizza bake at work and just take off the topping for me. My consumers LOVE it! In a 9X13 pan place all the meats, veggies, etc you want to use (we use turkey pepparoni, ham, ground beef, mushrooms, onions, green peppers) in the bottom of the pan. Pour a small jar of pizza sauce over top, Add cheese. Then mix 2 cups of Bisquick, 1 egg and 1 cup of Milk. Mix until smooth and pour over the top. Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes (watch closely, it sometimes doesn't take that long). When you serve it just cut with a spatula and flip upside down on the plate. When I serve mine up I just scrape off the crust (OK, I cheat a little and leave a tad bit).

*Crustless Pizza* 1) about 2pds any ground meat(or soy) 2) about 16oz (any) shredded cheese 3) med size can or jar of low-carb pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce 4) whatever pizza toppings, you like Take a square or rectangle baking pan/dish, press all ground meat/soy, into dish, pretty thick, it will cook away. Put into oven-350 degrees, about 30mins.-1 hour, then drain. Add pizza/spaghetti sauce & some cheese, then your favorite toppings, then the rest of the cheese, put back into oven & heat until cheese is melted (about 5 mins) Very good! My DH even loves this! Not sure of the nutritional info, or servings, which vary, maybe one of you could check, if you make this.

This is not the recipe that you were looking for, but I have made crustless pizza. I "fry" cheese, using either a teflon baking sheet, super nonstick pan, or release foil. I layer the pizza fixins, including some pizza sauce, and then I heat it until it is melted until it suits me. Once it cools...pizza! I have also cut my fried mozzerella/parmasean cheese into pieces, and used it with speghetti sauce instead of pasta. Fried pepperoni chips are great too as a snack! Cheryl Bigelow
