I've had several people ask me for this, so thought I'd post it. I wish I could find the original post, so I could be sure I'm quoting it exactly, but this is how I made it and wow, how yummy and pure protein!!! Thank you to whoever posted it...I'm sorry I don't remember, but if I did, you would be getting the proper credit you deserve! If you are the original poster, would you please let me know...it's driving me crazy trying to remember! Here goes: Brown 2 lbs. lean ground beef with 1 large onion; drain. Add one med. size can vegetarian baked beans, 1/3 to 1/2 loaf of light velvetta cheese, salt & pepper to taste. Cook til cheese is melted. The person who posted it said she freezes it in serving size containers and just pulls one out when she needs something quick. LOVE IT! It's so easy and yummy too!

Theresa, this is not my recipe, but I used to make ground round with pork and beans with no cheese and my husband would call this "grub." This new version sounds so much better, I will be making it soon. My dad would add scramble eggs to pork and beans also and it was quite good. Janice

I'll have to try that one. I do add a can of pork and beans to my sloppy joes. It makes them VERY yummy!!!!

Theresa, Thank you so much. I'm 5 weeks out and having a really rough time getting in protein. I also feel like I'm eating the same things every day. I guess party because these same things settle so well, and partly because I need new food ideas. I'll be trying this soon. Thanks again, Shari -38 pounds
