vitamins and such
Hi All,
I just got my date, June 12. I am so confused about the vitamins and protein powders and such. I am assuming you have tried them all and know which taste the best and which vitamins are the most effective and the cheapest. Can you tell me exactly what the daily requirements are and what I will need to take each day? Also, which are the best tastin protein powders? I am so overwhelmed with all the sites and stores and products. I need help!!!
Hi, Mouse, as to the vitamins, flinstone complete 2 daily, and one sublingual b-12. that are the ones that i have been told, at some point have to add calcium and possible a couple others. as to the protien, i havent tried any yet, have a lot of samples because everyone says your taste change after the surgery, so not to stock up on any. good luck, hope to join you the same date! teri
First of all, congratulations on your date!!
I like the Syntrax Nectar Proteins. I have tried the Fuzzy Navel, Roadside Lemonaid and the Lemon Tea. I personally like the Lemon Tea the best, but I just ordered the Tealicious. The prices are good, so you may want to try them out. Once scoop to 8-16 oz of water has 23 grams of protein.
The website I got mine at is:

Most doctors will tell you you will need 60-80 grams of protein a day. This is basically the only way to get your protein in for about the first two months, but this also counts as your water!!
Also, you might want to consider taking Zinc and Biotin for hair loss. I found them at Meijer and/or Wal-Mart.
