Dr. Obeed and Dr. Alghanem any input?

Hi everyone, I saw Dr. Obeed today, He assisted in my surgery, I had Dr. Dabadeen but he is no longer at Hurley so now I have Obeed. I like him a lot, always have so I am pretty comfy with him. He told me today I have a Hernia. Is good news really because I went to see him for the ok for panni removal and having a hernia helps insurance wise. Now my panni removal is not cosmetic or whatever you wanna call it when you have it done to get rid of excess skin. I still have a ton of weight to lose but my mobility is limited as far as good exercise goes because of a bad disc in my back. My pcp and physical therapist suggested a panni removal to help my back. Dr. Obeed agrees and is sending me Alghanem. Have never even heard of him so any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Amy

Amy, Well I loved Dr. Obeid. I had him for my surgery and I've done very well. As far as Dr. Alghanem goes, I see him on May 8th for a panniculectomy consult so I'll let ya know what my opinion is then. I've asked several who had him and they had nothing but praise for him. I love both these men. Dr. Alghanem did my tummy tuck at the same time Dr Obeid did my double hernia. Both are wonderful doctors, and I owe my life to them. Good luck. Tracey
