cobra

Just got let go at my job due to being outsourced. I have HAP for another month and if I can transfer to a new position within the company will be able to keep it. My question is....if I pay for cobra...will that keep my HAP insurance going and when I appear before the HAP board for my level 2 appeal on May 10th.....and if they approve me.....will HAP still pay for it if Im paying for cobra?
