Hi Honey....I'm home...
Actually, I got home around 3:30 today. I'm sore, but the pain is not unbearable. As Pam R. reported yesterday, those drugs were something else. I don't even remember talking to Pam R. Just glad to be on the loser's side - concentrating on trying to get in my fluids and protein. Now that's a challenge. Turns out I had two hernias and quite a bit of scar tissue from a previous surgery, which I didn't even know about. My wonderful surgeon took care of all of that for me, though.
Can't talk too long. I'm still pretty tired...
A special thank you to my wonderful Angel, Pam R., my friend Tarra T and her sweet daughter Maya who came to visit me, and to Patty J., who I just met through OH a couple of days, who came to visit and prayed with me before surgery. I am so blessed--My husband was there and my best friend, Gwen. Jenny and Chris, my kids, have been so good to me. To everyone who prayed for me and wished be the best--thanks from the bottom of my heart. To my surgeon and Todd the PA and all of the nurses at Blodgett - you guys were fantastic!
Okay, off to bed for me.
