Its a FILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Thursday was an eventful day. I was awakened at 0630 by hubby to this. "Action had her baby come one", knocked me out of a sound sleep. Off to the barn and she is just such a sweety, bay in color with a little white star on her forehead. She has very long legs. We named her RIKKI TAKE ACTION, her barn name is Rikki. She did have a few problems, she did not pass enough of her meconium stool and so had a terrible belly ache. so after 4 special enema's special medicine for her very painful belly and very careful watching she started pooping. (never though I'd be do happy so see that). We spent the entire night at the barn. She is now fine and eating every 40 minutes or so. She and Mom went outdoors for the first time today and the pictures are great. I just have to figure out how to get them on a website. (computer illerate here) All this with my son getting married on Sat at 2 pm. gosh I'm tired for some reason. She was actually 2 and half weeks early so I was not prepared; buy all went well in the end and they are happy and healthy for us. Brenda and David Peterman

How exciting. My boss' wife just had a new filly, too. We are waiting for pictures. I guess it was just awesome being there. Hope you have good weather for your son's wedding today. Congrats!!! I am so happy for you. My sisters horse had hers a year ago and so fun to watch them grow. Wishing good weather for the wedding thanks for sharing your addition. Hugs Debbie
