Plastic Surgeon Date has been set!! (Phase 1)

Hello all.... Well today I am officially 9 months post op from open RNY. Since May of 2003 I have lost a total of 146 lbs. Since surgery I have lost 75 lbs. I am not eligible for a tummy tuc****il I'm 2 years post op according to my surgeon, which is whatever, fine I guess. However the issues surrounding my sacks of sand hanging from my chest and the pain in my back, fractured ribs, and inability to run/jog have been holding me back for numerous years. It is with great excitement I announce that I have a date!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to my dear, dear, skinny friend Dorothy Brown of this board, I am seeing her Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Mark Komorowski, MD in Bay City Michigan, on May 11, 2006 at 2pm. I am a little bit of a planner so I called them a while back to inquire the pre-info they required: ie., mammogram, (which is being done tomorrow 4/20), letter of referral from my PCP and then once seen they contact insurance for approval. According to his office, it could be as soon as 1 month! In case you are wondering, I want my breasts lifted and implants put in to keep them from hanging down to my toes when I si down... Which is wonderful because that prepares me with TIIME to heal before my recently deceased Father's Memorial Service held on July 8, 2006. This is probably the best news I've posted in a while and I wanted to share the excitement with you my friends. I will keep you posted on the progress and if a date for surgery is made I will let you know. I hope it to be done at Midland Regional Medical Center because that is closer to my home.
