I'm Annette, from the Dallas area. I just scheduled my consultation for April 28th with Dr. Castro. My PCP strongly recommends the RNY, but I think I'd prefer the VSG. I've been reading the forums here to help gather information.

We are supposed to have a low of 33 tonight. If it hits freezing, it will be the latest freeze ever. It was in the 80s a few days ago, though. Freaky weather this year for all of us, I think.

Psych eval done! It was very easy. Basically answered a lot of questions, first with the doctor and then on paper and computer. We identified a few eating issues (big surprise there lol) and when we meet next month (after she has reviewed my test results), she'll have some specific steps/goals for me to help get deal with the issues.

Now just waiting a couple weeks for my medical follow up. Everything looks good for a summer surgery!

I'm 4 weeks out and doing well.  The scale is kind of in stall mode, but I am down about 30 pounds overall in the 4 weeks.
