Is it just ME????

I don't understand why so many of the BEFORE/AFTER photo's are so OLD.   There are none that I can find in the last 3 yrs.

I just can't get excited about a before/after photo from 2000 or 2002, sorry and I mean no disrespect.... but all of the boards have very old before/after shots.   Am I looking in the wrong place?

I don't think they updated for a while.  I did get an e-mail asking if I wanted to contribute so maybe another update is in the works

I just had the Lap Band done Nov 29th 2012 --- I see at the bottom of one of your posts that you had the band removed and will be having the gastric sleeve done Jan 22, 2013.  What is the reason why people switch from the band to the sleeve?  Or at least in your case, if you don't mind me asking?

Don't mind sharing at all.  Most people aren't really switching so much as having to have the band removed due to medical problems and issues caused my the band.  Many more are revisions due to poor weight loss/regain.  The company has even come out and admitted the band is not a lifetime devise.  A lot of people switch to the sleeve as like me, they found they could lose when the band worked from just restriction.  Unfortunately, the band was fickle about when it wanted to work and when it didn't.  The people on the VSG boards say over and over that the sleeve works the way the band promised. 

If you want/need any help with your band give me a yell.  I might be able to help you prevent issues I had.  Many thing don't get excited and over do fills.  I now it is hard but, take it as slow and easy as you can.
