 I had my surgery on monday the 7th and was realeased to come home yesterday the 8th. Things are going along ok. Except for some discomfort in my left side all is good. I did have my first dumping episode at the hospital when they gave me some pills to take. I never want to go through that again...

I had my RNY with Dr. Jamokay Taylor on Monday,April 30 in Ypsilanti.The pain lessens every day.Are you getting all of your fluids,and protein in? Everything tastes gross to me and I can not get it down,but that is getting better every day too.I have lost 10 pounds in 10 days.Lets keep each other posted.Oh yah I stopped my pain meds 3 days ago.Wishing the best for you.

That is great news!!  I am hoping I will finally have surgery sometime this year! I have done everything on my end. I was just turned down by Hurley Medical in Flint. So now I am looking into going through the Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti.
Dr Poplawski said he doesn't see a reason why I shouldn't be able to do the surgery, so we'll see.
