New to OH and looking for others in the Grand Rapids area
Hi! I am new to OH and had an open R-N-Y on March 13, 2012 in Grand Rapids. Looking to make friends from anywhere really, but would like to make some friends in the Grand Rapids area.
I'm almost two months out and I am learning new things each day about myself. I am also trying to adjust to the portion control as well as not over fill my pouch, which I have done a couple of times.
Does anyone know of local stores that carry chewable iron + c and chewable multivitamins that are comparable to the bariatric ones from Spectrum Health?

Grand Health Partners in GR has a store inside the building where they sell the chewables. Just walk in and they'll direct you to the store area..someone will point them out! Lots of high protein products there.
I have lived in Ionia County Michigan my entire life but just recently moved to South Carolina. Nice to meet you!

Hello I am from Garding City , unfortunately a few hrs away. but just a suggestion. Get a set of baby utensils to eat with to get you use to taking little bite. chew chew chew so that theya re pulvarised prior to swallowing. also if you have a Gordons Food service you cand get carry out containers in small sizes like 1 os 2 oz 3 oz and so on to premeasure your food before you set down to eat. You can also order bariatric friendly iron and vitamins from WWW.bariatricadvantage.com

Hi, I am from Cedar Springs, but work in GR. As said before Grand Health Partners is a good resource for the vitamins and food as well.
“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills. We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence. What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb. What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.? JRM
