Well I just found this message board! Well I'm looking for a support group that I can start going to, I'm self-pay so I will be going to Conway SC to have my surgery in July but it would be nice if I had a support group In Michigan...so please let me know if I can come to a support group with my great friends in Michigan!

thanks for the info I called and they said they did not have a self -pay. some doctors in Michigan have self-pay but they still are asking a arm and leg..lol. It will still cost less for me to go to Conway SC and stay for 12 days! It $8,0000 for Pre-op testing, Surgery (sleeve) and Post -op testing. It will be all together around $10,000
, and the doctor in Michigan are asking $12,000 and higher and that is just for them!! Thank you

 Hi! I am a self pay going to Dr. Pleatman in Bloomfield Hills.  He is 11,200 for VSG.  I looked into Conway also, but with 4 kids, didnt feel comfortable with being away for 9 days.  

My surgery is March 15!
