How did I not know there were local forums? Just thought I'd say hi. I had my VSG done on 2/16/12 in Grand Rapids.

Congrats on you surgery. I am new to this forum as well from Kansas City. But I have been to Grand Rapids with relatives in Muskegon.

OK....tell me your worst experience so far. I am schedule for Tuesday the 6th, I have been scared, now I am excited.....sometimes I think I over the hump on this liquid diet then I see favorite foods and think....Wow!

Now, how are you feeling?

Hello and welcome to all of you! I'm from Howell and had my surgery (sleeve) November 2010 @ St. John's in Macomb County. This is the best thing you can do for yourself, right Dawnie?

After surgery, stay involved with support groups and forums like this one so that you can maintain your focus. Best wishes to everyone on this journey.

P.S. Be careful with the cheese, sometimes it never wants to leave you.
