Has anyone had Dr. Pleatman as your surgeon?
I had my VSG surgery with Dr. Pleatman on June 8 2012, and I had a really quick recovery. The hospital he uses gets an "A" in my book for the awesome nurses--literally the best hospital I've ever been in (due to the small size and individual attention).
Dr. Pleatman has an "interesting" sense of humor. He can also be a little socially inept, but he knows what he's doing. He's a matter-of-fact, straight-forward kind of guy. He's also excellent at answering your questions quickly and responds to his email within hours.
His office is very welcoming and size friendly. His receptionist is absolutely golden. His support staff (nutritionist, and counselor) are excellent as well and are easy to reach and quick to respond to your questions. They all know me by name, and ask about my husband and ailing mother in law. It's a very close-knit group!
I give him an "A"!
