Want to start informal support group/north Kent county

Anybody in north GR, Rockford, Cedar Springs, Sparta, Sand Lake, Greenville, etc. etc. interested in forming a monthly informal peer support group?
There are two of us GHP post-ops in Cedar Springs that I know of.
I would be willing to host it in my home in the Cedar Springs area
or we could trade hosting. Anybody interested?

Are you scheduled for surgery yet?

 No I'm not scheduled yet.  I am waiting on a sleep study.  Even if I have the surgery, I'm having a DS and I had my gallbladder removed last year so the surgeon says he might not be able to do it if there's too much scar tissue on the duodenum.  That means I won't know if I had the surgery until after I wake up, so I'd hate to schedule anything before I know for sure.

Even if you didn't have WLS, you could still be apart of a group whose goals are weight loss.  Best wishes and do stay in touch!
