Hi everyone.  I'm three years out. Started out at 325 lbs, lost 150 lbs, then gained 20 back. So I'm now at 195 and holding. I'm sure I could lose more if I worked harder at it but I'm healthy as can be. All numbers are excellent.

I live in the Commerce area. I'm 43 and a single mom to teenagers.

Hey there... you have done an amazing job.... I know the feeling about wanting to lose that last bit, but just think about how much healthier we are.  That is what is important here.  I KNOW that I could do much more to get that last bit off as well, but I can be pretty lazy at times... LOL, plus I am not willing to give up my evening wine....  ;-)  I am sure that last bit would come off if I did.  I had been down to goal, but then I quit smoking (after starting up again after 9 years), and of course some of the weight came back on.  Now I am working pretty hard to take it back off.  However with my recent surgery and my upcoming surgery it is making it difficult to be active at all to get that scale moving back down.

You will get it in check and get things moving again.  You seem determined enough, I mean being a single mom to teenagers... OMG, I can't imagine.  I did it for a while to toddlers, but if I had not had my hubby with my older two when they were teenagers I can't even imagine where that would have ended up....

Wishing you the best of luck... I am sure you will be an amazing example of how well WLS works....

Hello I'm almost three months post-op and 65 lbs gone! Very happy living and loving with a wonderful husband who is having the surgery in November. Right now I haven't been exercising like I should but need to get back on track! Trying to go back to work part-time at least till after hubbie recovers from the surgery then I'm going back full-time and school next summer. These are things I never thought I would do or want to do before having my surgery! Not only does it help you get healthier but it also makes you think and want to do more, move more and enjoy the things life have to offer.
