still at U of M

well I have radiation ( for brain cancer for those that don't know ) till sept 2nd. that will be 7 weeks of treatment. So far so good as far as side effects. only issue is eating.. I lost 10# in 2 weeks and the doc said no more I told him I have extra to loose but  he said now is not the time.. so hopefully monday ( thats my doc day) . he will have some good news for me as far as weight loss goes..
 Usually ppl get to go home on weekends but I can't because I have a Rare brain cancer and my cancer doc is afraid ( for me) that if I had a issue the local hospital would have no idea what to do for me..

It is good to hear your spirits are somewhat on a high note.  I am so sorry you are going through this.  Are you going to be staying at U of M until September 2nd?  I may be able to stop in and see you once or twice when I am down in that area if you would like.  I have my doctor appointments in Ypsi and I am just a hop skip and a jump away from U of M.  As long as I am not pressed for time that is and the kids are behaving at home while I am out.  If you know what I mean.

I am happy that you are not having too many side effects.  That is always good news and I hope that continues for you.  You are in my thoughts and prayers... Just let me know if you ever want a visitor and I will do my best to come and see you.

I remember reading your post and have been wondering how you were doing.  I am sorry you are going through this.  You sound like you are staying positive and I am glad you are not having horrible side effects.  Your doctor is right, it is probably not the time to lose wiehgt as your body needs to stay healthy.
