Need to find a doctor in the Flint area

Hi Everyone,
I had gastric bypass over 4 years ago and lost 150 pounds and have keep it off.  I have had some issues, like kidney stones and low iron.  But all and all, I am doing well. 

My current Internat Medicine doctor doesn't seem to want to treat me and I need to find a new one in the Flint area.  Does anyone know of a good doctor that understands the issues of gastric bypass patients?  I would appreciate any suggestions.  I wouldn't mind driving a little ways but not too far.

Good luck, I know it can be hard to find a good doc.  If Waterford isn't to far, I see Dr. Stepanski at Walton Medical.  He's a family doctor, I really like him.  Depending on where you are, it might not be to far, it only takes me about 15 minutes to get to Flint on 75, but it's a big area, so my be further for you.

Waterford is a little too far for me to drive because I really live in the Clio area and I also don't drive the freeways.  But I do appreciate you help.

This is my primary Doc. He works very closely to Dr. Kia who is a bariatric doc with McLaren. I have been going to him for the last two years. I too have iron issues and because mine were so bad Dr. Vemuri set me up with a hemotologist which has really helped. His wife is also in the same office. If you go with him, make sure that you tell them that you have had gastric bypass and that you want to see Dr. K Vemuri.
