I'm Back
Hi! I orginally had the lap-band in May of 2008. I had many medical difficulties with it. Severe acid reflux being the main one. It was recommended that I have it removed, so I had a revision to a RNY, my insurance would not pay for a Sleeve at that time, (which was my first choice from the beginning).
So far not one day with acid reflux and heartburn issues!!!! So very happy about that. In the three years since I began this journey I have lost a total of 115#. I have some more weight to go and have been struggling with the "head hunger" and the sweet junk. Yet, I do not regret my journey, any of it. It's been worth it. I feel so much better physically.

Welcome back Lori. I know what you mean about losing focus. Seems like I start out my day "thinking" I am gonna stay focused, but it never turns out that way..... I quit smoking a few months ago and then I gained back like 15 pounds, and i had just reached my goal too..... Didn't really change anything either, so now I guess I need to really get my act together as well.
Good Luck and we are all here for you....
