I am 2 weeks post op tomorrow and am sooo craving REAL protein....ya know like, meats, cheeses, eggs etc....I have been diligently drinking my protein shakes, but am getting soo bored with it.  Yogurt is my other go to right now and thank goodness I can get that in lots of yummy flavors.  I have my post op checkup with my Dr. on Thursday and am so excited to be able to move on to eating something more substantial :)  I am so thankful for this surgery and all the trials I have to endure because it only makes me stronger, (or so they say).  Oh and I GET TO FINALLY TAKE A ...one of my favorite most relaxing things to do!!!!!!

I know it doesn't seem like it initially but this time really does fly by.
Before you know it you'll be eating small amounts of regular foods and feeling satisfied.

Good luck to you.

Try adding Protien powder to your  yogert. like vanilla w/vanilla pwdr it will increase your protein intake and help satify you. if you add a little splenda into it it will taste like cheese cake. Then try it with cottage cheese in a blender when your allowed to it is super delious too.
